Mum Thinks She’s Tom Cruise… Sean’s €200 Day Out 😂 24 Oct 2026

Mum’s dressed like Tom Cruise, Sean’s already spent over €200, and somehow we’ve ended up arguing about whether grandparents should be allowed to hug their own grandchildren! 😂 This week on The Confession Box, we’re chatting about Cork’s Jazz Weekend, the crowds, the queues, and why some people would rather go home than queue for a pint. Then we get into a very expensive day out. Coffee for everyone, lunch, shopping, UGG boots, and Mum trying to get a deal wherever she goes. Sean’s wallet definitely takes a hit! 💸 We also hear about Mum’s Halloween look, which apparently has everyone thinking of Tom Cruise, and her upcoming trip to Belfast for the Black Cab tour and the Titanic Experience two things that have been on her bucket list for years. Things get a little more serious when the conversation turns to an advert about grandparents and consent, sparking a debate about affection, boundaries, and whether the message was delivered the right way. And just when you think we’ve covered everything, we end up talking about mindfulness, Pilates, wildlife documentaries, clever ants, dung beetles and the incredible ways animals work together. 🐜😂 Another episode full of family stories, strong opinions, laughs and conversations that go absolutely everywhere! 🎙️ New episodes every week. Please be sure to like, leave a comment and share if you enjoyed the podcast And as always - Be safe out there !! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

One Bottle of Wine, One Irish Coffee… and the Surprise Is RUINED 🍷😂 12 Oct 2026

Nana P has done it again! 😂 This week on The Confession Box, we’re talking birthday surprises, holiday plans and the kind of family chaos that only gets funnier the more you hear about it. Julie had planned a surprise trip to Legoland for the twins, with strict instructions that nobody was to tell them where they were going. Unfortunately, after a bottle of wine and an Irish coffee, Nana P had other ideas… and suddenly everyone knew about Legoland! 🍷😂 Then came the debate over who took the tip money, and the question of whether Nana P should be trusted with any secrets at all. We chat about the family’s trip to Legoland, the restaurant meal beforehand, Sean’s night out, and the gin and tonics that mysteriously disappeared while someone was minding the house. There are also birthday plans involving Prague’s Christmas markets, a potential trip to Africa that raises a few questions, and the ongoing struggle of trying to help parents with phones, passwords and technology. Add in discussions about nature, dinosaurs, true crime, dancing, fishing, a birthday Hummer and a few more family stories, and you have another episode full of laughs and questionable decisions! 🎙️ New episodes every week. 😂 “I’m an Irish Woman I’ve Got This!” 30 Sep 2026

Sean is finally back in the Confession Box, although apparently he’s been enjoying a few weeks of “peace” while everyone else was looking for him. 😂 Mum has plenty going on too, including getting her ceilings painted, trying to get a discount from the painter by offering him a plug on the podcast, and somehow comparing the whole thing to getting the Sistine Chapel painted. 😂 We hear all about Fionn’s fishing trip, including the unbelievable story of him catching an eel on his very last cast and then coming away with a trophy. There’s also plenty of catching up on Sean’s beard, some serious accusations about whether he’s secretly been seeing someone, people recognising the podcast out and about, and Julie potentially heading off to South Africa for a trip involving Cape Town and a safari. Then things take a turn when the conversation moves onto health appointments, scans, smear tests and the latest things people are finding on TikTok before we get onto a completely different kind of story involving a huge bag of gravel and a woman determined to move it herself. “I’m an Irish woman. I’m independent. I’ve got this.” 😂 And finally, the gang get talking about emergency supplies, wind-up radios, unpredictable weather, power cuts and whether we should all be preparing for the apocalypse. Another week, another load of stories from the Confession Box. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Please be sure to like, leave a comment and share if you enjoyed the podcast And as always - Be safe out there !! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Mum Put Concrete Where It Definitely Wasn’t Supposed to Go 😂 23 Sep 2026

Mum is back on the couch but Sean is missing; the new iPhones are causing arguments, and somehow we end up with Mum taking a Jaguar for a test drive and pretending she might actually buy it. 😂 Then things get even better when Mum gets a €900 quote for painting a few ceilings, starts trying to negotiate with the tradesmen using the podcast as leverage, and ends up accepting a load of free concrete from builders working next door… only to discover afterwards that the concrete was covering drainage that absolutely needed to stay there. 😭 We also get into the joys of helping kids with homework, The Traitors, Mum trying to pay her car insurance through an automated phone system, a plumber arriving to fix the “no hot water” only to discover there was actually loads of hot water, and the Tooth Fairy being forced to issue an IOU — followed by an expired voucher. 😂 And because apparently that's not enough, the kids are getting a stretched Hummer for their birthday, while the episode finishes with Mum and Julie chatting about the Lizzie Borden story they've been watching. Another completely chaotic week in the Confession Box. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Please be sure to like, leave a comment and share if you enjoyed the podcast And as always - Be safe out there !! "They Know Me in Tralee!" 😂 14 Sep 2026

This week on The Confession Box, the gang have plenty to catch up on, including a very memorable trip to the Rose of Tralee, where Nana P finally got her "pinch me" moment inside the Dome and somehow came away convinced that everyone in Tralee knows her. Julie also tells the story of an online troll who turned out to be much closer to home than expected, while the conversation moves through family life, the kids' sports, Rocco and Rio causing chaos, and how much easier things have become since Cathal started taking over at home. There's also a secret Legoland trip being planned for the kids, a very expensive new phone, and one particular Fortnite secret that Fionn absolutely could not keep to himself. 😂 🎙️ New episodes every week. The Crow Comes Back! 🐦 13 Aug 2026

This week on The Confession Box, we're back with another episode packed with family stories, questionable facts and plenty of slagging. There's a new garden, a nearly €20,000 landscaping quote, Mum's plans for a visit to the plastic surgeon, and the long-awaited confirmation that Mikey Oog is officially, finally registered. The conversation then takes us from the eclipse and old-school LimeWire downloads to aliens watching dinosaurs, shark attacks and a family trip to a golf course that nearly ended with them being eaten by a crocodile. Julie also tells the story of the terrifying creature that flew into her house... which turned out to be a butterfly. And just when you thought the animal stories were finished, a certain crow makes another appearance. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Sean Said Dolphins Get High... 😂 24 Jul 2026

This week on The Confession Box, the gang are back with another episode full of laughs, family chaos and conversations that somehow end up in the most unexpected places. Sean becomes the target of plenty of slagging after turning up dressed like Onslow before Julie's shorts get compared to a pair of Penny's jocks. Julie shares life with baby Mike Óg and the challenge of keeping little ones entertained long enough to finish a conversation. There's also a chat about giving children more independence during the summer holidays, before Sean sends everyone down another rabbit hole with some unbelievable animal facts involving dolphins, cuckoo birds and turtles. As always, one conversation somehow leads to another... and complete chaos follows. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Please be sure to like, leave a comment and share if you enjoyed the podcast. The Heatwave Has Us Delirious 17 Jul 2026

This week on The Confession Box, the heatwave has everyone talking as the gang swap stories about family life, childhood memories and the things that were completely normal growing up that definitely wouldn't fly today. From the panic of forgetting to turn off the immersion to tales of old-school parenting, summer shopping, household gadgets and family updates, the conversation goes exactly where you'd expect... and nowhere you could predict. Throw in plenty of laughs, a few family disagreements and an update on baby Mike, and you've got another classic episode of The Confession Box. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Erin Rose Exposed EVERYTHING 😂 08 Jul 2026

This week on The Confession Box, Julie admits she's completely hooked on Love Island, Sean shares all about his trip to WWE in London with Fionn, and the gang somehow end up chatting about everything from summer weather and Cork hurling to menopause, holidays and Julie's infamous "Tippex toes." Things take a turn when Sean tries to explain one of his jokes… and somehow only manages to confuse everyone even more. But as always, it's Erin Rose who steals the show. From revealing things Julie definitely didn't want repeated on the podcast to calling out a few questionable parenting moments, she leaves everyone in stitches and Julie wondering what she'll say next. 🎙️ New episodes every week. I Knew Something Was Wrong... Nobody Would Listen 26 Jun 2026

This week on The Confession Box, we're joined by Christine for one of our most open and honest conversations yet. What started with numbness in her hands quickly became a frustrating search for answers as Christine found herself repeatedly trying to explain that something wasn't right. She shares her journey from those first symptoms through to receiving a life-changing diagnosis, the impact it had on her family, and how she learned to navigate the uncertainty that followed. Along the way, Christine talks about friendship, motherhood, resilience and finding the strength to keep moving forward when life takes an unexpected turn. There are plenty of laughs mixed in too, including the story of her son's unforgettable question during a hospital visit. A powerful conversation about trusting your instincts, advocating for yourself, and appreciating what really matters. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Do Crows Have Court?! 17 Jun 2026

This week on The Confession Box, we finally get to the bottom of the infamous Crow Court story. After it was first mentioned a couple of episodes ago and left hanging while Sean was away, he's back on the couch to explain whether crows really hold funerals, hold grudges, and put each other on trial. The gang also chat about parenting, social media bans for under-16s, and how different childhood looks today compared to years gone by. Julie shares a doctor's appointment story that takes an unexpected turn thanks to Erin Rose, while Sean relives one of his more questionable childhood decisions involving a bike and a bonfire. Throw in some strange animal facts, a trip down memory lane, and Nana P becoming increasingly concerned that crows might actually be keeping an eye on her, and you've got another classic episode of The Confession Box. 🎙️ New episodes every week. Acts of Kindness & Eye-Watering Ticket Prices 😂 11 Jun 2026

This week on The Confession Box, Nana P shares a story about an unexpected act of kindness that gets them talking about the good people you meet when you least expect it. From Nana P's story involving a traffic warden to Julie sharing a touching experience involving a broken-down car and an email she received, the gang reflect on the small moments that can make a big difference in someone's day. There's also an update on baby Mike, a parenting dilemma that Julie needs help with, a chat about sold-out concerts and rising ticket prices, Erin Rose's latest obsession, beauty treatments, and one very unexpected kangaroo story that sends the conversation off in a completely different direction. A mix of laughs, family life, heartwarming stories and the usual Confession Box chaos. Catch you next week when Sean catches us up on crow court 🎙️ New episodes every week. The Word That Stopped Us in Our Tracks 03 Jun 2026

This week on The Confession Box, Julie talks about finally feeling like herself again, the gang take a trip down memory lane with childhood TV favourites, and Sean opens up about an uncomfortable experience that sparked a bigger conversation about attitudes, acceptance and how much Ireland has changed over the years. There's also a debate about whether family members should have spare keys to each other's houses, plenty of reality TV opinions, and somehow the episode finishes with a discussion about whether crows hold their own version of court. As always, it's honest, funny, completely unfiltered and somehow ends up somewhere nobody expected. 🎙️ New episodes every week. The Communion Money Investigation 28 May 2026

This week starts with one conversation and somehow ends with Cleopatra, communion money, conspiracy theories, mortgage advice and Irish traditions. The gang chat about ADHD medication costs, overpaying mortgages, family finances, old-school traditions from West Cork and whether parents actually “borrowed” communion money growing up 😂 There’s also a completely chaotic debate about pyramids, ancient Egypt and songs nobody can properly remember. Another all-over-the-place episode in the best possible way. If you enjoyed the episode, please like, share, and leave a comment. It really helps support the podcast and means a lot! Hosted on Acast. Left Sitting on the Bench 😂 20 May 2026

Julie thought communion day was going to be emotional and full of big moments… until she found herself literally sitting on the bench while everything unfolded around her 😂 In this episode, Julie chats about Fionn & Aaron Rose’s communion day and the mix of expectations vs reality, including all the funny, chaotic, and very real family moments that came with it. Julie also opens up about pregnancy in the final stretch, general life updates, and the everyday ups and downs of parenting and family life. It’s an honest, light-hearted catch-up filled with laughs, relatable chaos, and a few unexpected tangents along the way. If you enjoyed the episode, please like, share, and leave a comment. It really helps support the podcast and means a lot! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

He Bought Me WHAT After Giving Birth?! 😂 14 May 2026

This week, the gang are back and there’s finally a new addition to the family - baby Mikey Óg. Julie opens up about the reality of giving birth, the panic during her C-section, the emotional hormone crash afterwards, and the completely random things that had her crying all week. From “don’t be nice to me” meltdowns to getting nose strips as a push present, this episode swings between emotional and absolute chaos in classic Confession Box fashion. Plus, stories about the twins meeting their baby brother, Lanzarote holidays, Netflix documentaries, and plenty of slagging throughout. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

“What If Everything Changes?” Final Weeks Before Baby 28 Apr 2026

This week is all about the final stretch. Julie talks through how things are actually feeling right now, hospital visits, low energy, and everything starting to feel very real. There’s still plenty of laughs along the way, but it’s a proper insight into where things are at heading into the final weeks. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Speed Van Came Out of Nowhere 😂 22 Apr 2026

It’s all going fine… until the speed van shows up. What starts off as a normal story quickly takes a turn, leading into a mix of reactions, laughs, and moments that don’t go quite as planned. There’s a bit of everything in this one, the kind of stories you don’t expect to go anywhere, but somehow end up being the highlight. Sit back and enjoy this week’s episode Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This One Nearly Didn’t Make It Out… 13 Apr 2026

After a couple of weeks without a release, this episode feels like everything hits at once. The conversation moves fast, jumping between stories, side tangents, and a few moments where things almost go a bit too far. There are points where everyone’s talking over each other, bits that probably should’ve been cut, and a few lines that might need a second listen before staying in. It’s one of those episodes that doesn’t stay on track for long, but that’s what makes it. Messy, honest, and very nearly left on the cutting room floor. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

We Left Him Alone for 3 Weeks… 23 Mar 2026

Welcome back to The Confession Box and this week, Sean is finally back after disappearing for three episodes… and of course, he has absolutely nothing useful to report. What starts as a simple catch-up quickly turns into the usual chaos, from nights out and running into old friends to stories that could’ve gone very differently if things escalated. There’s a bit of everything: awkward encounters, questionable decisions, and the kind of situations where you’re thinking this could turn at any second. In between all that, the conversation drifts (as always) into random debates, side stories, and the everyday madness of life. From money stress and talk of loans to the small things that somehow turn into full-blown arguments. It’s messy, it’s funny, and it goes completely off track more than once… but that’s exactly what makes it a Confession Box episode. Please leave a like, comment and share the podcast to continue helping it grow. Stay safe out there! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

She Said WHAT to the Landlord?! 20 Mar 2026

Welcome back to The Confession Box Just Julie and Nana P this week, and it doesn’t take long before things go completely off the rails. What starts as a simple catch-up around Mother’s Day, gifts, and day-to-day life quickly turns into one of Julie’s most mortifying moments yet… when her landlord and a painter arrive at the house and the kids decide it’s the perfect time to start saying everything they shouldn’t. Safe to say, she nearly didn’t recover. From there, the conversation drifts into the reality of juggling home life, money stress, and trying to figure out what’s next, all while raising kids who have absolutely no filter. There’s plenty of throwbacks, a few questionable parenting takes, and the kind of honest chats that somehow swing between heartfelt and chaotic in seconds. It’s funny, a bit mad, and painfully relatable, another classic Confession Box episode. Be sure to share the podcast. We love reading your comments, leave one behind x Hosted on Acast. Three Tragedies, One Family: Yvonne’s Story of Loss, Strength & Survival 09 Mar 2026

This week on The Confession Box, we sit down with our first guest, Yvonne, who shares the heartbreaking story of growing up in a family that has faced unimaginable loss. This episode contains discussion of suicide, death, drug use, and grief involving young people. Some listeners may find parts of this conversation distressing. Listener discretion is advised. Yvonne opens up about the first tragedy that struck when she was just three years old, after her 13-year-old brother Roy passed away. She reflects on the few memories she holds from that morning and the incredible strength her mother showed in protecting the rest of the children during an unthinkable moment. Years later, the family was devastated again when her brother Killian died at just 16 after collapsing in Dublin following a cardiac arrest. Yvonne shares what it was like hearing the news, the shock that spread through their small town, and the complicated grief that followed. But heartbreak struck the family once more. The episode also begins the story of Yvonne’s younger sister Molly, whose tragic death would become another life-changing moment for the family. Through it all, one thing remains constant: the strength of a mother raising a large family through loss, grief, and unimaginable hardship. This episode is raw, emotional, and deeply honest, a story about family, resilience, and the lasting impact of love even in the darkest moments. Hosted on Acast. Finally She Got the Keys 02 Mar 2026

Julie finally got the keys. After five years of being told no, single mum, self-employed, rejection after rejection, she walks into her own house for the first time… and immediately realises she owns absolutely nothing to put in it. The excitement quickly turns into “where do I even start?” as the reality of an empty shell hits. No furniture. No sofa. Just a kettle, a toaster, and an air fryer on the way. They break down the bidding war, the panic over new builds, the small €2k jumps that decide your future, and why saving consistently in the credit union actually mattered more than anything else. And just when things get sentimental… Julie gets charged bus fare at a toll booth and becomes convinced she was weighed. Proud moments, financial chaos, a little vindication, and one very confused toll operator. Classic Confession Box. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

How’s That Even Legal?! 23 Feb 2026

Mortgage approved… chaos unlocked. Julie finally gets the text she’s been waiting for, but before she can celebrate properly, trolls manage to dig up her new house listing and post it online. Meanwhile, outside the studio, a man casually cuts an electric bike free with an angle grinder in broad daylight... no panic, no rush, just vibes. Scrambler bikes are flying up one-way streets like it’s a video game, and McDonald’s is making announcements about “we do not accept abuse” mid-ice cream order. As if that wasn’t enough, the conversation somehow ends up in America, where 56 fraternity pledges stand covered in ketchup and vodka refusing to move for police. Add in gym delusions, Dwayne “The Rock” comparisons, and a baby shower booking thrown into the madness, and you’ve got another week where the only real question is… How is that even legal?! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Why Were the Guards at My Door at 5 in the Morning?! 16 Feb 2026

What starts as a normal catch-up turns into pure chaos. Julie wakes from a dream about her dad to a doorbell ringing at 5AM… but convinces herself she imagined it. The next morning there are bits scattered on the driveway, missed calls from an unknown number, and by that evening there’s a Garda at the door holding the twins’ school bags. Yes. The school bags. From a car break-in no one realised was happening, to passports going missing, to the slow realisation that the guards were the ones ringing at dawn — it’s a weekend Julie won’t forget in a hurry. And because this is The Confession Box, the episode somehow also takes a hard turn into childhood fears of the Bermuda Triangle, irrational worries about quicksand, and a full in-studio science experiment that proves your own hand can’t decide if it’s hot or cold. Guards, panic, nostalgia, and accidental education. Another chaotic one. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Road Rage, €20 Coffees & Someone’s On Tinder 09 Feb 2026

What starts as road rage and rain-induced rage quickly spirals into chaos when someone is caught swiping on Tinder… on Mam’s phone 😳 From dog disasters and scary movies for eight-year-olds, to eye-watering drink prices, free travel passes, and Mam’s determination to collect every bottle in Dublin, this episode is pure Confession Box madness. Add in fridge-switch disasters, physio oversharing, sciatica updates, and the ongoing question of how anyone is meant to live with prices like this — and you’ve got one for the books. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

I Nearly Died When I Saw the Notification 03 Feb 2026

One phone notification is all it takes to send Nana P into a full spiral. She’s somehow ended up on Tinder, doesn’t know how she got there, and definitely doesn’t want to be there. Accidental matches, panic deleting, and the kids absolutely in bits. From swipe stress to real-life pressure, the chat quickly turns to money, mortgages, and the question nobody has a good answer for: how are you actually meant to live on that? Throw in acupuncture stories, throwbacks to nights out with no phones, and the usual brutally honest rants, and this one goes everywhere — fast. And as always The Confession Box is part of the Acast Creator Network. Be sure to leave a comment and a 5-star review Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Deep Heat, Dinosaurs & Don’t Try Me This Week 27 Jan 2026

Welcome back to The Confession Box Between pregnancy sciatica, deep heat fumes filling the studio, and Sean somehow managing to sit comfortably through it all, things kick off in a typical chaotic fashion. Julie opens up about a recent situation that spiralled online, the ripple effect of podcast comments, and how quickly trolls can latch on — especially when you’re seven months pregnant and already in pain. Just when things get heavy, the episode takes a sharp left turn into pure Confession Box madness: Sean reveals a brand new tattoo that raises more questions than answers (yes, it involves a dinosaur… or a drunk chicken), Nana P has thoughts, and suddenly we’re deep into Disney films, parenting without iPads, physio visits, swimming pools, and whether kids should ever hit back when they’re being bullied. It’s one of those episodes that swings between real talk and ridiculousness - raw, funny, frustrating, and very us. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

So… Boob or No Boob? 20 Jan 2026

Nana P is back in the Confession Box and finally fills us in after a very tense few days. What starts as a hospital visit ends in relief, but the chaos is only getting started. From finally getting the gas reconnected (thanks to what can only be described as an actual angel), to an overnight trip to Dublin that turns into a Talbot Street nightmare involving a dead car, AdBlue drama, and a surprisingly sound taxi man, it’s one thing after another. Add in overpriced groceries, dodgy labels, cheap glasses, and a deep dive into celebrity family drama, and you’ve got a classic catch-up episode that starts calm and ends in pure Confession Box chaos. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

One Missing From the Box 13 Jan 2026

It’s just Julie and Sean in the Confession Box this week, with Nana P missing as she’s in hospital, taking it back to the basics We talk TV obsessions, kids’ antics, overthinking, and the strange places your mind goes when you’ve too much time to think. A proper catch-up episode with laughs, tangents, and the usual madness. What starts as the usual warm-up chaos quickly turns into a more honest, reflective chat about hospitals, waiting for updates, and the fear that comes with unanswered phones. Julie and Sean talk through past family health scares, how quickly your mind jumps to worst-case scenarios, and the strange ways people cope while waiting for news. There’s still room for lightness, awkward laughs, getting tangled in thoughts, and the familiar back-and-forth that keeps things grounded Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Happy New Year… From Bottle Machines to Butterfly Effects 05 Jan 2026

It’s the first episode of 2026 and the gang ease into the New Year in true Confession Box style — by immediately arguing about dates, shopping, and who actually paid for Christmas. Julie reveals how a year of obsessive bottle collecting turned into nearly €300 in vouchers, which somehow funded two full Christmas dinners… but still left everyone wondering where all the food went. That spirals into post-Christmas shopping chaos, Nana P navigating Dunnes on a broken leg, and Sean sending a “simple” shopping list that nearly causes a full aisle meltdown (granola, yoghurt and rice are all up for debate). As the chat drifts between icy roads, cancelled school buses, hospital scans, and Christmas nights out, Sean takes a sharp turn into philosophy — introducing the trolley problem, the butterfly effect, and whether everything really does happen for a reason. Julie and Nana P are… not fully on board. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

She Did NOT Get Drunk… She Got Pissed 29 Dec 2025

It’s full Christmas chaos in The Confession Box as Julie, Sean and Nana P squeeze back onto the couch and immediately start roasting each other. From broccoli jumpers and pronunciation wars to re-gifting scandals, emails-as-presents and “hashtag gifted” drama, nothing is safe. Things escalate quickly with Christmas Eve Mass, pub traditions, drunk Santa memories and a St Stephen’s Day that ends with Nana P going missing under a blanket — only to wake up and be served black bean Chinese “for breakfast”. Add in lost chargers, childhood trauma accusations, food comas and a little house talk, and you’ve got peak Confession Box energy. Chaos, comfort and plenty of laughs — just how we like it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Christmas Week Madness: Car Park Crashes, Dettol Baths & Sale Agreed 24 Dec 2025

It’s Christmas week, and the gang are in full festive meltdown mode. Julie, Nana P and Sean kick off with pure slagging (Sean’s outfit gets absolutely dragged), before the chat turns into a Cork city struggle: disastrous parking, a wall bump, a wing mirror hanging off, and Sean walking straight into a pole… while recording. There’s ice skating at Marina Market, Christmas present negotiations, family throwbacks (Dettol baths, saxo salt, and ringing your mam in work), and then Julie drops a proper update — they spotted the “sale agreed” sign on the house and she’s flying through the legal side with a specialist property solicitor. A festive catch-up packed with chaos, nostalgia, and a little property progress — Happy Christmas, and be careful out there. 🎄 Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Julie Is Gone Sale Agreed 16 Dec 2025

Julie shares the house update — sale agreed and trying to get everything sorted before Christmas. Then we find out Nana P clicked a dodgy link and somehow became an admin in scam group chats… you honestly couldn’t write it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

She Put an Offer on Two Houses?! 09 Dec 2025

Welcome back to The Confession Box, and sorry again for last week’s missing episode… Julie makes up for it with plenty of chaos this time 🙃 She kicks things off having a full meltdown over recording an ad, spending nearly an hour trying to pronounce fancy wine names (Château what now?) and turning one poor bottle into champagne, red wine and everything in between. That spirals into a chat about zero-zero pints, whether you’d still be done for drink-driving if the barman gave you the wrong thing, and an experiment that proves mind-over-matter might actually be a bit too real. Then Julie drops the bombshell: she hasn’t just viewed a house… she’s put an offer on two of them. She’s in a bidding war, she’s 100k short on paper. Come find out how she plans to make this one work. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
